Nikki Ross Jewellery is based around the concept of ‘Selfhood’. The definition of selfhood is: The state or quality of being an individual; a person separate from other persons and possessing his or her own needs or goals.
Nikki Ross Jewellery allows each and every one of you to express your own selfhood. The concept of my jewellery line is that each piece is sold separately, allowing you as ‘the adorner’ to style it together as you want.
Rings are designed to be stacked, worn on the forefinger or double as a toe ring. Earrings can be combined to make the statement you’re looking for: feminine, tough or anywhere in between.
For my first collection, the ear is a major focal point, to be adorned with all manner of studs, hoops, pendants and ear pins – or all at once for those of you who like to push the boundaries and rock a daring look.
To me, jewellery is something very personal, an expression of your innerself, and it says who you are without need for explanation. Nikki Ross Jewellery is designed to talk for itself.
All pieces are handcrafted in 925 silver and I would describe the design manifesto as deceptively simple, decidedly unromantic and fuss-free. Nikki Ross Jewellery really comes alive once you see it on the adorner.
Those who will relate to my jewellery are strong, edgy and cool – whether it’s obvious or subtle. Someone with selfhood!
